About PDF Course

The problem

Most of what we need to learn arrives as a PDF: a textbook chapter, a paper, a spec, a handbook. Readers are good at storing those files and bad at getting through them. Highlighting feels productive, but without structure, recall or feedback, almost nothing sticks.

What we built

PDF Course reads the document you upload and generates an interactive course from it: lessons broken into small steps, checks between them, a quiz at the end of each lesson, and a glossary of the terms and abbreviations in your material. You can also generate standalone practice quizzes — 5 to 250 questions, from the whole document or just the pages you pick.

It is a tool, not a library. Every course comes from a document you uploaded, and it stays private to your account.

How we think about it

• Your material, your content. You keep the rights to what you upload and to everything generated from it. We only process it to run the service.
• Verify, don't trust. Lessons and quizzes are produced by AI models and can be wrong. They are study aids — check anything important against the source.
• No dark patterns. Credits are a transparent AI budget: a job reserves a worst case, then unused budget is returned when it finishes.
• Private by default. Documents are visible only to you, never used for advertising, and deleted with your account.
